Our LeadershipUnder the leadership of Founder and President, Dean A Black, "a little DAB'll do ya!" has grown to become the "premiere event planner" in the Circle City - Indianapolis! Dean is a graduate of Indiana State University and a Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Event Rental Professional (CERP) and he is an accredited Professional Wedding Planner (PWP). It is this unique blend of formal project management training, event industry expertise and creative ability that sets Dean apart! Dean has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of event and hospitality management including literally hundreds of weddings, events and special occasion celebrations including national conventions, pageants, state conferences, political campaigns, parades, retreats, international sporting events, fundraisers and many more.

We have assembled an impressive group of associates from every aspect of event management including design, planning, decor, rentals, attire, finance, transportation, food & beverage, service, entertainment, execution, staffing and marketing - all of whom work toward the same simple goal - creating memories to last a lifetime! We also welcome the opportunity to work with new vendors that share the same goal, as well as vendors our clients bring to the table! Additionally, we enjoy strong working relationships with all of the areas premiere event venues and we have "preferred provider" status at many.

My parents decided to let my brother Rick name me since he was showing such enthusiasm toward his new status as "big brother". After careful consideration, his first choice was "Popeye", which was of course vetoed. His second nomination was for "Zorro" which suffered the same fate. Finally, he decided he wanted to name me DAB - from the iconic Brylcreem advertisement "a little dab'll do ya!" So, from the initials DAB, I was named Dean Alan Black.
My brothers wisdom continues as it served as the genesis in naming "a little DAB'll do ya!" |
